The plenary session of the City Council of Cartagena, which has resumed in the afternoon, has unanimously approved a socialist motion aimed at cataloging, protecting and enhancing its restoration and dissemination of the mural work of the artists Enrique Gabriel Navarro and Ramón Alonso Luzzy that exist in numerous public and private spaces of the municipality and others in the region.

The inventory of these works will be incorporated into the Catalog of Protected Buildings and Elements included in the Municipal Plan of Cartagena and the Autonomous Community will be requested to include it or goods inventoried in the Inventory of Cultural Assets of the Region of Murcia.

It has also been approved with the abstention of the PP and the vote in favor of the rest of the groups, another motion of the socialist group urging the Government of the Region of Murcia to study and adopt relevant administrative and economic provisions for the opening of the centers of health and doctor's offices in afternoon shift to attend the consultations of Primary Care, including those of Pediatrics.

The plenary session also unanimously approved a motion by the popular group to adapt the noise ordinance in response to the demands of hoteliers in relation to the regulation of environmental music in catering establishments and the possibility of performing live shows in the same.

With the abstention of CTSSP and the favorable vote of the rest, a motion of the popular group has been approved to support the national celebration of the fortieth anniversary of the constitution in December 2018.

With the abstentions of MC and CTSSP another popular motion has been approved for the Governing Board to make the necessary budgetary modifications so that the entities and associations can avail themselves of their subsidies, despite the extension of the budgets.

Unanimously has approved another motion of the Popular Party so that throughout the year 2018 is working on the promotion of the brand "MY TREASURE IS THE MUSIC" and Cartagena is present at the 2nd edition of FITUR "We are Tourism, We are Music. "

With the support of PP and MC, the abstention of Citizens and the vote against PSOE and CTSSP, the popular motion has been approved in support of the figure of the reviewable permanent prison and urging the different Parliamentary Groups with representation in the Congress of the Deputies to reconsider their position on the repeal of this type of penalty.

From the socialist group has been approved, with the abstentions of PP and Citizens, a motion urging the Government of Spain to return to a public pension system with greater capacity for redistribution and reduction of inequalities.

Another socialist motion that has been approved, in this case unanimously, has been the one that showed its support to the International Transport and Horticultural sector, opposing any measure of the Spanish or French authorities that suppose a greater tax burden.

With the abstention of Citizens, the PSOE has obtained that the rest of groups approve their motion for the regulation and adoption of measures of protection of the vulnerable consumer.

Unanimously approved the motion of MC for the nomination of a public space in posthumous tribute to the municipal sexologist and driving measures of equality, Cristina Esparza, exposing by the municipal government, which is the Youth Resource Center Paseo of Alfonso XIII the one that bears his name.

Also from this same group, a motion has been approved unanimously so that the City Council will authorize a study room for young people;

and with the abstention of the PP and PSOE, another to know the conditions of access to employment in Lhicarsa and check whether the conditions of publicity, merit and ability are met.

Citizens have unanimously approved a motion that calls for the creation in Cartagena of the permanent headquarters of the International University of the Sea and another in support of communication professionals, urging the Local Government to sign the Manifesto "Public Commitment by the Employment and the Journalistic Profession ".

And establish, together with the political groups, a protocol of good practices and ethical behavior with the media.

Another initiative of Citizens approved unanimously was the one that proposed the elaboration of a regulation that regulates the management and contracting of institutional advertising in the City of Cartagena, its autonomous organisms and the entire municipal structure;

as well as the one that requested the convocation of an extraordinary and monographic Spokesperson Board on the road cleaning and garbage contract, in order to expose and clarify: the anomalies report of the Infrastructure Department on Lhicarsa and the response of its board of directors .

Also of Citizens has been the unanimously approved motion on collection, transport and storage or disposal of garbage, waste and urban solid waste.

On the part of CTSSP, the unanimous approval of their motion has been obtained for the elaboration of a cleaning plan that limits the acoustic emissions of sweepers and blowers that are used for street cleaning.

With the votes against the PP the motion of CTSSP has been approved to request the delivery of the act of the Senator and former mayor Pilar Barreiro, or his dismissal in his case in the popular group of the Senate.

Finally, the motion of CTSSP has also been unanimously approved, urging the Autonomous Community to inform the Confederación Hidrográfica del Segura of the need to prepare a plan to avoid the mining waste trawling through the ravines to mountain populations. mining and the Mar Menor.
