The streets of Cartagena hosted the last carnival parade on Saturday, February 10, in which about 1,500 people participated, that despite the cold, contagion of warmth and joy to the attendees, who followed the parade until it ended in the Town Hall Square.
Despite the low temperatures, the elegance and spectacularity of the costumes aroused public interest.
Vedettes, princes and princesses, members of African tribes, clowns, military, fairies and even ladies of hearts, each and every one of them prepared with care to stoke the parade and delight the attendees.
A total of 90 groups paraded through the parade, of which 15 were made up of children and 14 came from outside, a very positive fact regarding the appointment of this festivity as of National Tourist Interest.
The floats of the Queens of the Carnival in their different categories (infantile, absolute and major) and that of the Drag Queens acquired a prominent role in a parade marked by the low temperatures and the commitment and professionalism of its participants.
