The elementary students of CEIP Feliciano Sánchez have received the visit of the Rugby Cartagena University Club thanks to an activity organized by the ADE Program of the Department of Sports.
Students from 4th, 5th and 6th have spent an unforgettable morning with several players from the CUR Cartagena, who have made it possible for students to get to know the sport of rugby.
The first part of the day has been developed in the classroom where an animated video about rugby has been projected for the initiation, after which the children have rehearsed with the sportsmen the war cry they make before the matches: "Mastia, mastia , mastia. "
The second part of the visit was developed on the sports center track of the educational center, where they have practiced exercises adapted to the ages of children, such as racing and tackling, in a circuit with different exercises where children have experienced rugby .
Finally, the athletes have been photographed with the students and the CUR Cartagena has received a gift from the school.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
