Hundreds of children have filled the streets of downtown Cartagena with their costumes on the morning of Friday, February 9.
The Parade School began at 11 am, starting the tour in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and ending at the Plaza de Juan XXIII.
The students of Primary, who have participated in this parade, belonged to the educational centers: Primitiva López, Patronato Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Poet Antonio Oliver, CEIP Santiago Apóstol, Concepción, Mare Nostrum and Atalaya.
The councilman of Education, David Martinez, has come dressed up as Tadeo Jones to the children's parade.
The boys have not been left behind with their disguises: small policemen, firemen, waiters, master chefs, CSI, sailors, chickens, pineapples or lemons, have paraded down the main street, San Sebastian Square, Gates of Murcia, Jabonerías, San Roque , Carmen to complete her tour in the Plaza de Juan XXIII.
The afternoon of Friday, February 9, is the time for the Carnival of Seniors organized by the Department of Social Services and Mediation of the city of Cartagena, and will be attended by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón and the councilman of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba.
The Gala is celebrated in La Dama de Oro and in it will take place the usual comparsas contest, which will be followed by the election of queen and ladies.
During the jury's deliberations, attendees can enjoy a carnival dance.
The final point, about 7:15 p.m. will be with the awards ceremony.
