The Local Government Board meeting this morning under the presidency of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved, at the proposal of the Councilor of the Economic and Finance Strategic Area, Carmen Martín, a generation of about 626 thousand euros, from a grant awarded by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF).
This aid is destined to the development of the mixed employment and training program in attention to disability, which will be carried out by the Local Development and Employment Agency of the City of Cartagena (ADLE) and ASTUS.
Through this program, the employability of 40 unqualified unemployed, over 24 and under 55 will be improved, which will facilitate the obtaining of a certificate of professionalism, combining theoretical training with internships in ASTUS centers.
The certificates of professionalism to be obtained will be those of attention to dependence (level 3);
educational promotion of people with disabilities (level 2) and auxiliary gardening operations (level 1).
During the 12 months that the program will last, the 40 participants will receive the minimum interprofessional salary.
The first three months will be exclusively practical training;
and the remaining nine will combine theory with practice in the ASTUS dependencies.
The pre-selection of the participants will be carried out by the SEF in the first instance, with three unemployed per seat;
corresponding the final selection to the ADLE.
Likewise, three trainers, a coordinator and an administrative officer will be hired in this program.
