The Local Government Board, meeting this morning under the presidency of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved an expenditure of 20 thousand euros for the selection of artistic proposals that will be carried out during the Night of the Museums of Cartagena, that this The year will take place on Saturday, May 19 and in its tenth edition will be dedicated to the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
According to the Councilor for Education, Culture and Youth, David Martínez, the selection will be made through an open call, whose bases have also been approved by the Governing Board.
It can be submitted to individual or collective proposals, creative modalities likely to be displayed in the city's museums and certain streets and squares.
The selection will be carried out by an organizing committee.
The deadline for submission is open until March 9, and may be done in person at the Youth Council, in the OMITAS or by certified mail.
David Martinez has indicated that the technical team of this edition, made up of staff from the Department of Infrastructure, Culture, Tourism and Youth, is already working on the programming of this magical night, waiting for a good response from the artists in the presentation of their open proposals to dance, music, performing arts or any other creative modality.
