The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, will be the maintainer of the forty-fifth Floral Games of La Palma, to be held at the Cartagena deputation on March 10.
His appointment was announced yesterday afternoon by members of the board of directors, such as its president, José Escribano Gabaldón;
the secretary, Ángel Aparicio;
and the vocalist José Joaquín López Molina.
There was also the Councilor for Culture, Education, Youth and Heritage, David Martínez.
To the present edition of the games some 50 works of poetry have been presented coming from all the Spanish autonomous communities, as well as Argentina and England.
At the gala on March 10, the young poetry contest prizes will also be handed out, and some thirty works have attended.
