Finuchi Mante Martínez, from the Salgueiro troupe, was elected adult queen of the Cartagena Carnival on Saturday, February 3.
This comparsa was also the winner last year with the coronation of Lorena Arias Blaya as Queen of Carnival.
Her fantastic silver fantasy suit with rhinestones and fuchsia details led Finuchi Mante to get the adult queen crown.
The candidate of this comparsa based in San Ginés managed to dazzle the jury and the audience in an evening full of lights, colors and carnival sounds.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, as well as the regional government spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo, and the councilors of the Area of ​​Economic Strategy and Finance, Mª Carmen Martín;
of the Area of ​​Quality of Life and Wellbeing, Obdulia Gómez;
of the Area of ​​Public Services, Citizen Participation and Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba;
of Ára de Cultura, Education and Youth, David Martínez;
and of the Area of ​​Sustainable Development and Public Function, Francisco Aznar, were present in this event, along with other protavores and members of the municipal Coordination.
The gala, which took place at 9:00 p.m. in the Wssell Central Sports Pavilion in Guimbarda, also included the reading of the opening speech by Kiko Hernández and the star Sandra Bruman.
Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma also had their moment of prominence with a funny performance.

and Miriam Sánchez García, from Ipanema, were appointed first and second respectively to a pavilion crowded by more than 2,000 spectators.
