The Restaurant La Cartuja hosted on Sunday, February 4, the Encuentro de Bolillo of the Mujeres Vértice Association, of San José Obrero.
In the meeting they participated bolilleras of all the municipality of Cartagena, but also of other cities like La Union, Crevillente or Guardamar.
The mayor and head of Equality, Ana Belén Castejón, attended with the councilor of the area of ​​Culture, Youth and Education, David Martinez, to the meeting that began at 10:00 am with a reception of all participants.
At 10:30 a.m. they made a breakfast, and then at 11:00 a.m., begin with the exhibition and demonstration of the art of bobbin lace.
The mayor, during her visit, encouraged the attendees to continue making known and transmitting the art of the bolillo to the next generations of women.
The women finished this meeting with a meal.
