This new version of the work of Fernando Fernán Gómez, directed by César Oliva and starring, among others, Diana Peñalver, Nieves de Medina and Patxi Freytez, was released a few months ago coinciding with its fortieth anniversary.

The work takes place in the summer of 1936 when the Civil War broke out.
In the city of Madrid, the family formed by Don Luis, his wife Dolores and their children, Manolita and Luisito, share the daily life of the war with the maid and the neighbors of the building.
