The assembly hall of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center welcomed this morning the taking of possession of 42 administrative assistants of the City of Cartagena of the offers in public employment of 2014 and 2015, after having successfully passed the selective tests of the competition free that have been developed since last June.

Some two hundred people, between companions and relatives have accompanied the new career civil servants in their oath or promise of their position before the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and the councilor of the area of ​​Sustainable Development and Public Function, Francisco Aznar.

The mayor has given official welcome to the "house" and has referred to the long wait that many of those who took possession have had to endure in provisional positions, waiting for a call for competitions.

Castejón recalled that 12 years ago that this did not occur and has claimed the necessary job stability of public employees to respond to the services demanded by citizens.

The councilor has also referred to the work that has been done from the City Council so that in a staggered way all vacancies are filled and that little by little the workers' workforce that demands a city like Cartagena is going to be achieved.
