On January 29, the MC Cartagena municipal group, represented by its spokesperson and deputy spokesperson;
José López and Isabel García, respectively, appealed for reinstatement against two of the recent agreements adopted by the Local Government Board chaired by the socialist mayor Ana Belén Castejón.
First, against the agreement materialized by the Governing Board of December 29, under the name of 'Tariffs for the next financial year of the administrative concession of drinking water supply and sanitation services in the municipality of Cartagena.
Similarly, against the agreement of November 21, which determined the creation of a technical commission for the execution, monitoring, control and study of the contract for water supply and sanitation of the municipality of Cartagena.
With this appeal, MC Cartagena expects the annulment of the aforementioned acts and, therefore, they will be rendered ineffective and those that in execution of them have been able to dictate.
The estimation of the resource has to suppose an important reduction in the costs of the service and the defense of the general interest in front of the business, action protected in the estimations of the municipal officials, authorized voices in the matter when watching, indisputably, for the general interest and not for the commercial or political.
