According to Ramón Navia, biodiversity allows us to balance our environment, our agriculture and, therefore, ourselves, turning our environment into a paradise.
Food sovereignty gives us the enjoyment of infinite flavors, resources and health.
Ramón Navia, ecological farmer of the Cartagena field, is also an agronomist and, for more than 20 years, advises other small and medium farmers.
Ramón Navia has a 45-hectare farm in area II of the Cartagena field, Bio Álamo, a company founded in 2012 by him and José Miguel Cavas.
This farm is located in the "Lo Jorge" farm, in the municipality of Fuente Álamo.
The citrus fruits and vegetables cultivated in these lands make a production model based on respect a reality.
This respect for the environment through the ecological polyculture in rotation, the recovery of native varieties and the introduction of varieties from other culinary cultures are another of the points that will focus the colloquium.
