The Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena and Region "flatly" denies the information disseminated by IU-LV Cartagena in which it accuses COEC of promoting a consortium, formed by 30 companies, together with the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia, to exploit touristic the Regional Park of Calblanque.
From the employers stressed that this is an "absolutely false" accusation and showed their "total perplexity" by the fact that the initials of COEC are linked to a presumed business project "of which we are totally unrelated."
In this regard, they regretted that a political party released a press release without contrasted data and decided not to rectify it "knowing that it is false", since from COEC they have been explained in detail their total disengagement on this matter, even sending them documentation about it.
Finally, COEC appeals to the Deontological Code of the journalistic profession so that it does not give rise to this "lie" that "only seeks media noise" and that "may damage the impeccable image of a business organization that works for the economic and social development of the Region of Cartagena ".
