The Council of Equality of the City of Cartagena prepares its poster of March 8, International Women's Day.
The women of the municipality who wish may give their image to create a collage using the background of the face of Carmen Conde, one of the mothers of history.
The photo sessions will be on Friday, February 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Department of Equality and on Saturday, February 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza de San Sebastian.
All cartageneras older than 18 years who want to participate will have to sign the authorization of transfer of image.
If any woman of 16 or 17 years old wants to participate, she must be accompanied by an adult guardian who signs the consent.
HOMAGE CARMEN CONDE
The writer and teacher Carmen Conde is considered a model of woman who was part of the history and literature of Spain as part of the poetic generation of 27. 40 years ago Carmen Conde was named the first academic woman.
In the interview published in the newspaper El País of February 9, 1978 said: "This is important and not only for me, but for all women"
