On the occasion of the information published today by the newspaper La Verdad, which echoes the denunciations of some residents of Isla Plana due to the turbidity of water in the filters of some homes, the spokesperson for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, has indicated that "we were aware of this situation last week, when our president in the Neighborhood Board of Isla Plana-La Azohía, María Dolores Díaz, told us that she had received a complaint in this regard for the bad smell, the bad taste and brown color of water, at that precise moment we sent a letter via email to the Department of Consumer Affairs, Health and Environment, and I personally communicated with the responsible councilor to transfer this logic local concern of which I received promptly answer".
