The schools and faculties with the greatest presence of participants in the Explorer program are Industrial, Telecommunications, Business and Architecture.
Followed by Agronomists, Roads and Mines.
The 35 young people with business ideas have been chosen for aspects such as their entrepreneurial profile, career, ability to communicate the proposed idea, the innovative component of the project, their creativity and the potential for growth of their idea, among others.
Training and validation
The young people selected will be able to attend practical sessions and workshops on design thinking, creativity, finance, leadership, marketing or communication skills - hours of specialized training - given by the experts that make up the Explorer network.
In turn, each project will have the personalized support of a volunteer mentor who will provide their experience and advice.
Explorer has a training itinerary that incorporates the Lean Startup methodology that allows the agile creation of new business models applying the principles of continuous innovation and validated learning.
