The European project COLOC opens the registration period for the second phase on March 1, 2018. Throughout the month of May will begin with the training of the 45 students selected to obtain the certificates of 'Dynamization of educational free time activities infant and juvenile ',' Operations of recording of data and documents' and 'Auxiliary operations of continuous coating under construction'.
Last December, the first phase of the COLOC Project began, managed by the Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE), based on an economic subsidy charged to the 2017 Call for the granting of European Social Fund grants.
This aid belongs to the Operative Youth Employment Program, aimed at the sustainable integration of young people in the labor market in the context of the National Youth Guarantee System.
This project is developed in two phases.
Each of them works with 45 young people under 30, especially women, people with disabilities, immigrants, and long-term unemployed who, due to their personal situation, find greater difficulties in accessing the labor market.
It is an integral intervention in which different actions are developed, ranging from training to individual and group orientation.
The objective of this project is to improve employability and increase the chances of employment.
During this month of January, the first three training actions have been started, which are the certificates of professionalism of "Lifeguarding in aquatic facilities", "Basic operations of Bar Restaurant" and "Dynamization of free time educational activities for children and young people".
This training is complemented by training in English, new technologies, and resources and tools for job search, always bearing in mind the gender perspective.
At the end of the courses, the students will carry out the professional practices included in the contents of the certificate of professionalism and will have the possibility of carrying out international internships through the ERASMUS + Program.
In addition, through this European project may work a few months abroad through an initiative to be developed in coordination with the Department of Youth.
