Twenty-nine schools of the municipality will meet this Wednesday, January 24, in the Sports Pavilion of Cartagena for the celebration of the Municipal Phase of Playing Athletics in alevín category, which is developed within the School Age Sports Program, organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia.
Each center will participate with a male and a female team.
The centers
Los Alumbres, San Isidro, Garden City, Leonardo da Vinci, La Concepción, Aníbal, Stella Maris, Sagrada Familia, Luis Calandre, Santa Florentina La Palma, San Isidoro St., Virgin of Begoña, San Francisco Javier, La Vaguada, Narval, Poeta Antonio Oliver, Virgen del Carmen, Vicente Ros, Azorin, San Cristóbal, Virginia Pérez, San Felix, Fernando Garrido, Miralmonte, San Antonio Abad, San Juan Bosco, Santiago Apóstol, Santa María Micaela and San Fulgencio.
The Department of Sports, in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, the Athletics Club El Cano and the Cartagena Athletics Club have coordinated a device made up of technicians from the Department of Sports, athletics judges, volunteers of IES TAFAD Mediterranean and buses for the displacement of participants and teachers.
The competition will start at 10:00 am and end with the trophies, which will take place at 12:30 hours.
The winning team will represent Cartagena in the regional final to be held in San Pedro del Pinatar, on February 21.
