Encounters with Author of the Municipal Libraries of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena with the visit of the Madrid-born writer Alfredo Gómez Cerdá on Tuesday, January 23.
The 6th grade Primary School students who have registered for the activity in the libraries of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, Manuel Puig Campillo (Barrio Peral) and Rafael Rubio (Los Dolores) will meet the author of the book Mari Pepa and the Club of the Pirates, of the Editorial SM.
The meetings will take place in the auditorium of the Luzzy Cultural Center and the Los Dolores Library.
From 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Alfredo Gómez Cerdá will be at the Luzzy Cultural Center to meet the students of the Marist school, Santa María del Buen Aire, La Vaguada, Fernando Garrido, Beethoven and Vicente Ros.
Later, it will move to the Library Rafel Rubio de Los Dolores at 12:30, where it will be the turn of the students of the Sacred Heart school.
THE AUTHOR
Alfredo Gómez Cerdá was born in Madrid in 1951 and has a degree in Spanish Philology.
Gómez Cerdá has written plays, poetry, comics and screenplays, until in 1981 he discovered children's and young people's literature.
To date he has published more than sixty titles.
He also collaborates in the press and specialized magazines, besides having participated in numerous activities around this field of literature.
In 2009 he was awarded the National Prize for Children's Literature.
