During the 16th and 17th of January, a course was held at the facilities of the ECAR Armed Driver School belonging to the General Albacete Fuster Marine Infantry School (EIMGAF) in Cartagena, to train 22 members of the Service of Cartagena firefighting in the handling of vehicles used in emergencies.
The course has been divided into two days, in which six instructors of the ECAR have been training firefighters continuously.
The course has been eminently practical using simultaneously three tracks that have passed all students doing driving practices of off-road on forest track, while others were on another track with different types of light and heavy vehicles, others made safe driving practices and finally another group performed vehicle recovery maneuvers.
The duration of the same has been 12 teaching hours, of which two have been theory and the rest eminently practical putting vehicles and drivers in situations in which you can maneuver safely and skillfully.
The course has been specially designed for members of the Fire Fighting Service by members belonging to the ECAR, it is part of a set of Training Actions organized by the Training Department of the City of Cartagena with Cartagena Firefighters and is part of the traditional mutual collaboration that is maintained between the School of Public Security of the City of Cartagena - ESPAC and the EIMGAF in various matters related to security.
