The festivities of Pozo Estrecho celebrated on Tuesday, January 16, its big day with the festivity of San Fulgencio.
The Galileans celebrated a mass in honor of the saint in the parish church that bears his name to later, take him out in procession through the streets of the Cartagena deputation.
The Mass was celebrated at 18:00 hours with the presence of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón accompanied by other members of the municipal corporation.
Once finished, the procession began in which they took San Fulgencio, carried on their shoulders, through the streets of Pozo Estrecho.
The day had begun at 12:00 with a parade through the old town.
At noon, the Galilea Book Fair began at the Huerto de Paco Saura Festival Center.
At around 1:00 pm, the 1st Traditional Pozo Estrecho Music Encounter took place.
Finally, at 2:30 pm, they enjoyed a tasting of the traditional Galilean balls attended by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, accompanied by other councilors of the Municipal Corporation, the president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, and the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver, among other regional authorities.
