The Department of Culture organizes a workshop on Philosophy for Adults, an activity of Cartagena Piensa that makes the Society of Philosophy of the Region of Murcia and consists of five sessions, which will be taught between the months of January and March, in Classroom 2 of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
The objectives of the workshop are to publicly share a series of reflections on the role of emotions in the different spheres of human action and the way in which they have been approached from Philosophy.
As well as providing criteria for self-reflection and rigorous criticism of the role that emotions have in each one's life or the way in which each one thinks about them.
To finally introduce the philosophical thinking of some of the most important authors in the history of Philosophy, showing the practical value and relevance of their concepts.
The first session is organized for Tuesday, January 30, and is called 'Emotions and gender'.
The workshop will be taught by Diana Martinez to address if the female brain is different from the male brain, and many other issues dedicated to the relationship between emotions and gender, from the point of view of science.
