The Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, through the program TLa (Alternative Free Time) and the General Directorate of Youth of the Region of Murcia, with Murcia Bajo Cero, join efforts to expand the range of leisure activities aimed at young people Cartagena, in this case what has become known as "experiences of snow", and launch three trips to Sierra Nevada and one to Formigal.
The councilman of the Culture area, David Martinez, and the general director of Youth, Francisco Javier Sanchez, have been responsible for publicizing the details of this initiative, as explained by Martinez, offer the opportunity to practice sports related to snow, such as skiing or snowboarding, in various modes of travel.
To this we must add that it is an opportunity to meet people with unforgettable experiences and enjoy group activities in a natural environment, said Francisco Javier Sánchez, who emphasized that this will be the "most" year for young people in the world. that leisure and free time refers, thanks to initiatives of this kind that offer more than 750 places for "experiences in the snow", with the participation of 19 municipalities in the region.
Thus, young Cartagena can choose to ski or snowboard in Sierra Nevada in one day, to choose between Saturday February 17 and Sunday March 11;
experience from February 4 to 8 in Formigal (Aragonese Pyrenees);
from March 2 to 4 in Sierra Nevada (Granada);
and March 10 in Sierra Nevada, with prices ranging between 61 and 189 euros.
Those interested should go through the Youth Resource Center, on the Paseo Alfonso XIII, to sign up for the trip or excursion chosen.
