The Commission for Monitoring and Control of the Administrative Concession of Water Supply and Sanitation Services of the Municipality of Cartagena meets this afternoon with extraordinary character.
The meeting, which is held in the Administrative Building of San Miguel, is chaired by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and has the participation of members of the municipal government, spokespersons for municipal political groups, technicians from different municipal areas and representatives of the service concessionaire, Hidrogea.
He also attends, as usual as a guest, since he is not part of this commission, a representative of the federation of neighborhood associations.
During the meeting is being informed of the new water tariff agreed for 2018 and approved by the Local Government Board on December 29 and which will, according to the mayor at the time, show a monthly drop of about 8, 29 euros for an average family, formed by four members and with a consumption of 24 cubic meters, which will represent almost a 15 percent drop in the part of the receipt that specifically concerns the consumption of water.
