The Finance and Interior Commission, meeting this morning with extraordinary character, under the chairmanship of councilor Francisco Aznar, has unanimously ruled unanimously the creation of a commission of inquiry that has as its object the contract for drinking water supply and sanitation services , as requested by the municipal groups of MC and CTSSP, through the convocation of an extraordinary plenary session to be held next Thursday, day 18.
As explained by Aznar, the five municipal groups have been favorable to the creation of this commission, whose presidency and work schedule, should be determined at its first constitutive meeting after the approval of the plenary.
The Commission has avoided ruling on the second issue that was on the agenda of this extraordinary meeting, which also raised the request of MC and CTSSP, the resolution of the appeal for reinstatement filed by thirty citizens in January 2004 against the plenary agreement of November 2003, which agreed to extend the term of the drinking water and sanitation contract to 25 years.
Aznar explained that this has been the case, after the technical presentation made by the secretary of the commission in which he has argued the lack of legitimacy of ASEPUCAR to request the resolution of the said optional remedy of reinstatement, since she did not submit it but diverse citizens;
and because in any case, the appeal has already been resolved in a dismissive manner through administrative silence and the matter is currently in administrative litigation.
THE WATER RATES WILL BE SEEN THIS AFTERNOON
On the other hand, this afternoon, from 5:00 pm, in the Administrative Building of San Miguel will meet with extraordinary character the Commission of Monitoring and Control of the Concession of the Services of Supply of Drinking Water and Sanitation of the municipality of Cartagena, in which, among other matters, the water rates for 2018 will be informed, agreed by the Governing Board on December 29, as well as the next call to ESAMUR.
