The Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara has presented during the morning of January 11 the III Literary Fair and the First Photo Contest of San Ginés, whose deadline for submission will be open from today, January 11, to March 11.
The literary contest consists of two modalities, one of poetry and the other of narrative, while in the contest of photographs there is only one modality.
This contest, which began in 1969 when the Association of Friends of the Wind Mills of Campo de Cartagena developed the I Literary Fair in honor of San Ginés de la Jara and recovered last year 2016, has been organized by the Guild of San Ginés de la Jara, the San Ginés de la Jara Cultural Association and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena and other institutions and associations in the region.
The Councilor for Education, Culture and Youth, David Martínez Noguera, said that literature is a wonderful way of expressing ourselves, communicating and relating to each other and has invited Cartagena to present themselves and write, while underlining that in Cartagena "we have great writers and writers.
