The Contracting Committee of the City of Cartagena has proceeded this morning to examine the documentation submitted by the 18 companies that attend the awarding of the service of conservation and improvement of gardens and trees in Cartagena.
Specifically, the capacity and the technical and economic solvency of the bidders have been analyzed and the envelopes containing the technical proposals of each of them have been opened, which must now be evaluated by the municipal technical services, before proceeding in a meeting next to the opening of the economic offers.
The maintenance and improvement of the municipal gardens is a service that has been hired in the City of Cartagena since 1989. In total, the contract covers some 873 thousand square meters of gardens, with the bidding budget of 9.7 million euros, with a term of two years.
The hiring table has also analyzed the administrative documentation and economic offers presented by the eight companies that attend the cleaning service of the auxiliary track of the Sports Palace and the facilities and stands of the Cartagonova Municipal Stadium, which has a budget of tender of about 195 thousand euros for a period of one year.
The economic offers will be informed by the municipal technicians in order to determine if any of the registered losses is excluded by recklessness.
The same has also been done with the economic offers of the nine companies that have submitted for the award of the cleaning service of the 30 medical offices that the municipal area of ​​Cartagena has.
The type of bidding for this contract is about 634 thousand euros and its term of execution, two years.
