The Fire and Rescue Extinction Service of the City of Cartagena has reported a fire around 10 am on Tuesday, January 9, on the ground floor of a house in the Santa Lucía neighborhood.
The fire has originated and has mainly affected the main distributor, and later, the smoke has spread to the rest of the house, they have indicated.
Sources of the body have stated that there have been no mortal human victims, however, a companion animal has died after the firemen reanimated it without success.
They have also indicated that the extinction has been rapid, "proceeding later to ventilate the house and extract all the smoke generated by the fire," they have concluded.
