Our municipal group is not a partner in this shameful situation, in the lack of political responsibility, including the unnecessary spectacle that has been taking place for months.
On the contrary, we deeply regret that both MC and PSOE have spoiled the possibility of having a progressive government and change in Cartagena, and that in several issues have been the continuity of the PP (Old Town, General Plan, etc.).
Thanks to CTSSP the Popular Party has been evicted from the institutions and it is MC and PSOE that have thrown away that experience, which has been slowed down in some important projects in terms of social policies, participation, environmental policies, etc.
The PSOE must immediately rectify its policy on water: so far has not taken a single step to show that it is not part of the plot, rather the opposite.
We demand that it stops the fraudulent negotiations of the tariff, that it reinstates the former General Director of Infrastructures, that it waits for the results of the audit to calculate the costs of the service and that it considers the reports made by the council of Sustainable Development.
Also, you must unblock the sanctions processed to HIDROGEA for breach of contract.
From CTSSP and PODEMOS we consider it immoral to negotiate with a company accused of being corrupt and corrupting the Cartagena political class.
The PSOE will have to demonstrate that it serves the general interest and vote in favor of the commission of investigation that we propose, putting all the resources of the City Council at the service of the judge of Lugo and of its own investigation in Cartagena.
Finally, it must initiate the procedures to annul the so-called extension of the contract, as it appeared in its electoral program: the extension is illegal and is tainted with corruption.
We hope that in the extraordinary plenary session on the 18th the change that we demand will be visible.
The agreement of the 40 points signed by our training with MC and PSOE is broken, because it was an agreement with the Government and the Government has been broken.
We have not broken it, they have broken it with their unwillingness to reach essential consensus.
For its part, the PSOE has consistently failed to comply with this agreement: in the 7 months that it has been in charge of the Mayor's office it has had a hand in the big contracts (FCC and HIDROGEA), it has prevented the accounts of the the municipal groups and has even dared to privatize public services such as the Office of Congresses.
From our municipal group we did and will continue doing what we think is best for Cartagena, we will do it from the opposition, as up to now, with responsibility to the citizenship and without asking for seats in exchange.
With respect to a possible motion of censure, our municipal group considers this scenario impossible today and will not speculate about it.
With regard to the budgets of 2018, for now our group does not have any draft by the Government.
Meanwhile, we are collecting the proposals of the Circles and the members of the Neighborhood Boards in the face of future amendments that we will present when there is a draft by the Government.
Finally, CTSSP values ​​very negatively that the PSOE of Cartagena, which had come to the Government to end the corrupt policies of the PP, now throw in the arms of the right Cartagena, which will have difficult to explain to the public and their own voters.
