Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar visited the Casa Cuna, the nursing home and the children's area of ​​the Hospital of Santa Lucía during the day.
After the visits of the Magi of the East there has been the reception of their Majesties in the Palace Hall and Cartagena children have been able to meet them in person and deliver their letters.
To welcome you there has been a great Welcome Party with fantasy characters, inflatables and music.
Children and adults have danced to celebrate this special day at the door of the City Hall.
After the reception and the visit with the children, these special guests have retired to rest and save their strength for the great Cavalcade of Kings, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Alameda de San Antón at the intersection with the Calle Francisco de Borja and ending at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

MAGIC HORSEBACK RIDING
The traditional parade that accompanies the cart of the Magi will travel the main streets of the city.
The retinue of their majesties will consist of fourteen floats and several animation troupes full of characters, music and gifts.
Three tons of candy, 60,000 bags of jellybeans and 18,000 plush toys will be distributed during the course of this great ride.
This will be a small snack for all the children of Cartagena who, if they have been good, will receive their most desired toys in their homes.
For those who have not behaved so well, their Majesties the Kings of the East will leave a small sample of coal in their homes to remind them to improve their behavior for next year.
TRAVEL
The route of this parade will start from the Alameda de San Antón, at the intersection with Francisco de Borja until reaching the Plaza de España.
Once there, the delegation will move to the Paseo Alfonso XIII and continue through Juan XXIII, Santa Florentina, Carmen Tolosa Latour, Sagasta and Puerta de Murcia to finish at the Plaza del Palacio Consistorial.
FREE BUSES
To facilitate mobility, from the Department of Sustainable Development has established, as last year, free of charge all urban bus lines, from three in the afternoon.
Some of them will be affected in their itineraries during the time of the ride, according to Alsa.
Lines 1 and 2 in the direction of Cartagena will run along Ramón y Cajal street, Reina Victoria avenue, Ángel Bruna street and Alfonso XIII promenade.
In the direction of San Felix and the Peral neighborhood, the bus will continue its journey through the Paseo Alfonso XIII, Ángel Bruna street, Reina Victoria avenue and Juan Fernández street.
Lines 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14 and 24 will also slightly modify their route during the hours in which the ride takes place.
The rest of the buses will keep their route and usual schedule.
RECOMMENDATIONS TO DRIVERS
The Local Police of Cartagena informs all drivers who are going to access the city center to move before 17:30, since at this time traffic will be cut from Angel Bruna to the Paseo de Alfonso XIII and Plaza de Spain in both directions.
Before, at 4:30 p.m., traffic will also be cut off in all the streets through which the parade discrudes, with the exception of the Alameda de San Antón (direction Plaza de España from Plaza María Cristina), which will be cut from 3:00 pm, due to the preparation of the different floats for the parade.
In addition, the Local Police remember that the parking of vehicles will be prohibited from 2:00 pm on the streets affected by the parade route: Alameda de San Antón, Plaza de España, Paseo Alfonso XIII, Juan Fernández St. Juan XXIII Street , Santa Florentina Street, Carmen Street, Tolosa Latour Street, Sagasta Street, Murcia Gate, Calle Mayor and Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

In the Cartagena neighborhood of Los Mateos, the Three Wise Men will also make a special stop in the social premises, in Plaza Modistas.

Their Majesties of the East will distribute toys among 320 children of the neighborhood who will come to receive them.
This event, which has been a tradition for the last few years, is organized by the Rascasa Association.
To help their Majesties to reach Los Mateos, the collaboration of the Cartagena City Council and its Toy Collection Campaign was necessary, as well as the solidarity of dozens of people, entities and companies.
Thanks to the efforts of their Majesties the Magi and the generosity of all these people and institutions, all the toys that are delivered will be new.
THE MAGIC KINGS IN THE MANGA
Their Majesties the Kings of the East also visit La Manga on the 5th so that the little ones can see their Majesties before they pass through their houses to distribute their gifts on a Three Kings' Parade, which will depart from the Plaza del Cavanna, at 6:00 p.m.
The procession arriving from the East will make a stop in the Bohemian square and continue until the Galerías el Flamenco road, where it will end at 7:00 p.m.
In addition, this day before the arrival of the Three Kings, children can jump and have fun thanks to the playground installed in the Plaza Bohemia.
This game center will remain open all morning from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
