The Fiesta del Roscón de Reyes filled on Wednesday, January 3, the plaza of the City of Cartagena.
The party woke up, as every year, the interest of hundreds of Cartagena, who waited from six in the afternoon to taste, free of charge, a ration of this Christmas candy.
The event was organized by Cadena COPE of Cartagena and the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.
In addition, this party had the collaboration of the 'Group of Friends of Cartagena.
The tasting of this great Roscón de Reyes was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, to lend a helping hand to the attendees, as well as the councilors Obdulia Gómez, Francisco Aznar, David Martínez and Mari Carmen Martín, who did the same .
Among those present was the giant Roscón de Reyes, which was arranged around the Town Hall.
It was the largest Roscón made in Cartagena until now.
This traditional Christmas treat, elaborated by the 'Grupo de Amigos Pasteleros de Cartagena', was divided into some 3,000 portions and distributed around 200 gifts to delight children and adults.
In addition, this celebration had three performances that enlivened the afternoon.
The gymnast VivaGym was in charge of starting the party with a Zumba exhibition for children.
Next came the stage of the Ana Zapata School of Artistic Education, which presented the choreography prepared by the children's group 'Diamond Stars'.
And finally, the Wizard Abel put the finishing touch to an afternoon full of music and magic.
