Pozo Estrecho is already preparing to start its festivities of San Fulgencio from January 12.
The activities are organized by various associations and local neighborhood committees, in addition to the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.
On January 12, the patron saint festivities begin with the religious triduum in honor of the patron, where he will proceed to the imposition of San Fulgencio scapulars.
All the devotees will be able to witness and participate in this liturgical act starting at 7:30 p.m. in the parish church.
In addition, this same day at 9:00 pm, Gregorio Rabal Saura's book 'Hablando de pájaros' will be presented at the civic center.
On Saturday, January 13, in addition to continuing the triduum to San Fulgencio at 7:30 p.m., there will be a floral offering to honor the patron.
Subsequently, at 20:00, all the residents of Pozo Estrecho may wish to see the performance of the choir 'Suaces' in the same parish church.
On Sunday January 14 comes the most magical part for the little ones of this town.
The atrium of the church will host the performance of the great Mago Abel at 10:30 am.
The Brotherhood of San Fulgencio will also celebrate its traditional food on Sunday at the Pepe Bibiano Restaurant.
This same day in the afternoon, the civic center will host the performance performed by the Apolo Theater Company of El Algar: 'El Cianuro ... Alone or with milk?'.
This performance will start at 8:00 p.m.
On January 16 comes the most important day of the Pozo Estrecho fiestas.
At 12:00 the parade begins through the old town.
In addition, starting at noon, the Galilea Book Fair also begins at the Huerto de Paco Saura Festival Venue.
Around 1:00 pm the 1st Traditional Pozo Estrecho Music Encounter will take place in this space.
And finally, at 2:30 pm there will be a tasting of the traditional Galilean balls.
In the afternoon, a Mass will be celebrated again at 6:00 pm in the parish church in honor of San Fulgencio and, once finished, the procession through the streets of Pozo Estrecho will begin.
On Wednesday, January 17, the day of San Antón, the traditional blessing of roll and animals will take place in the church of the town and a mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m.
At 17:30 there will also be a tribute to the elderly.
