The municipality of Cartagena will adhere to the Safety Protocol on Gender Violence in the Region of Murcia.
This was announced this morning by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, after the meeting of the Local Security Board, which also involved the government delegate, Francisco Bernabé.
In this Extraordinary Security Board, the City of Cartagena committed to follow the protocol of coordination and collaboration with the bodies and security forces of the state, as well as with the Local Police, for the protection of victims of gender violence.
The mayor explained that this agreement is one more step to continue working with regional administrations and move forward to eradicate the scourge that domestic violence and gender violence imply.
In this way, the City of Cartagena is committed to putting all available means to eliminate this social problem, as well as lending its support to the victims.
