The Minister of Employment, Universities and Enterprise, Juan Hernández, held this morning a meeting with the president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE) of Cartagena, José Manuel Antón, with which he analyzed the situation of entrepreneurship in the Region, recalling that the report 'Global Entrepreneurship Monitor', prepared by the University of Murcia and financed by the Info, shows that "regional entrepreneurs are betting increasingly on technological projects with a vocation for internationalization".
On the other hand, Juan Hernandez highlighted the implementation of certain measures of the Law of Urgent Reforms of Autonomous Work that came into effect yesterday, January 1.
The main modifications have to do with the bonus in the rate of the self-employed, the tax deductions, the contribution system and the surcharge for late payment of the rate.
Indicate the extension of six months to one year of the flat rate of 50 euros for new self-employed workers and for those who resume after two years.
It also activates the option that the self-employed person working from home can deduct 30% of the income from water, electricity, gas, telephony and internet for the part of the home that affects the activity.
Likewise, from now on, the self-employed can reduce their accommodation and subsistence expenses, provided that they are due to the development of the economic activity, that they take place in restaurants and catering establishments and that they are paid electronically.
Likewise, only the payment of the contributions will be made from the day in which the registration or resignation takes place as self-employed, and not for the full month as it has been up to now.
