Last Saturday, the 50th Anniversary of EF Esperanza Club of the Virgen de La Caridad neighborhood was celebrated.
On the occasion of this ephemeris, and taking advantage of it, the reform of the football field 'López Belmonte' was officially inaugurated, in which the entity disputes its matches as a local, to which the turf has been replaced.
The act was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the general director of Sports of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Alonso Gómez, the first deputy mayor and sports councilor, Ricardo Segado, the councilor of Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, the delegate councilor for Equality, David Martínez, the councilor for Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martín del Amor, the mayor of the municipal government team José López and some members of the opposition such as Manuel Padín.
The mayor was in charge of making the honor kick and officially inaugurated the new lawn of 'López Belmonte'.
Later a women's triangular tournament was played in which a combined cadet and youth of the Federation of Soccer of the Region of Murcia, EF Esperanza VC and CFF Uryula participated.
After the conclusion of the matches, the trophies were handed out to the participating teams and recognition was given to the people who contributed their selfless help during these 50 years.
