The Councilor for Social Services of the City of Cartagena, Maria del Carmen Martin del Amor and the president of the Association of Relatives and Friends of People with Alzheimer's, Afal Cartagena and Region, María José Regueiro, have signed a collaboration agreement by which City Council grants an economic aid to the NGO to improve the accessibility and equipment of Alzheimer's patients.
From Afal it is considered important to favor the accessibility in the basic activities of the daily life of the users, for that reason from the Ong technical aids for the personal cleanliness of the patients and locators will be offered so that the accessibility becomes an authentic reality.
Likewise, the improvement of the information and communication services is contemplated through the acquisition of computers and tables, this will allow to favor cognitive therapies to patients with visual and motor difficulty through specific computer programs.
