The garden of the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Cartagena "Enrique Escudero de Castro", hosted on Thursday the Christmas Concert promoted by the Museum itself and the Association of Friends of the Museum (MUSEADOMUS), which featured the role of the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena who moved to the municipal facilities about 300 students belonging to the Symphony Orchestra and Choirs of the Conservatory, under the direction of Ginés Martínez Vera and Doroteo Ludeño respectively.
They performed well known pieces such as "On the banks of the Blue Danube" by J. Strauss and "Pirates of the Caribbean" by K. Badelt, without missing the Christmas carols: Noche de Paz, Blanca Navidad and Adestes Fideles.
Prior to the performance, the welcome to the large audience was led by the President of Museadomus, Mª Teresa Sánchez, the Director of the Conservatory, Mª Ángeles Bres, and the Coordinator of Archaeological Heritage, Mª Carmen Berrocal, who thanked them for their assistance with a particular congratulation of the Archaeological Museum that represents a flint arrow of the Amoladeras as a Christmas tree.
Those attending the concert were able to exceed the figure of 350 spectators, who completely occupied the garden area of ​​the Museum.
