Miriam Martínez Abellán shows the exhibition 'Cuerpos Fracles' at El Batel.
This project by the artist (Cieza, 1978) consists of a set of works that range from installation to other mixed techniques such as collage, painting and assemblage.
Martínez Abellán begins an intimate journey through his own experiences with pain, the search for identity, roots, existence and sensuality.
All of them extrapolated to a more universal sense of femininity and the vindication of it through art.
Thus the value of women in different societies and cultures is praised.
'Fractal Bodies' opens this Thursday, December 21 and can be visited until February 4.
At the inauguration, which will take place at 8:00 pm, will be attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.
The exhibition, curated by Pedro López Morales, represents the most refined and conceptual work of the artist who, without losing the expressive force that characterizes all her previous work, surprises with a disturbing perspective of the complex emotional framework of the human being.
Miriam Martínez Abellán has participated and collaborated in various musical and cultural activities at a national and international level.
Its trajectory is supported by more than twenty exhibitions, some in public institutions such as the Museum of Siyâsa de Cieza, the Casa Pintada de Mula Foundation, the Casa del Mar in Puerto de Mazarrón.
He has also exhibited in other spaces such as Art Sale Madrid or La Lemo Art Gallery in Berlin.
The exhibition 'Fractal Bodies' can be visited from December 21, 2017 to February 4, 2018, for free, from 10.00 to 20.00 hours in the exhibition hall of El Batel.
