The Contracting Committee of the City of Cartagena held a new meeting this morning under the chairmanship of the councilor for Finance, Contracting and Heritage, Isabel García.
During the session, we have proceeded to the opening of the administrative documentation of the eighteen companies that opt ​​for the service of conservation and improvement of gardens and trees in Cartagena.
The bidding budget for this contract is 9,754,096 euros, having a duration of two years with the possibility of extension for one more.
The members of the Bureau have agreed that, as a step prior to the opening of the technical proposals, the tenderers provide the deeds and documentation that endorses their technical and economic capacity, in order to promote a security framework that guarantees the solvency of the merchants.
This procedure, which contributes to a gain in security for the administration, the workers and the companies themselves, has been fully informed by García to the bidders present at the event, as well as to the representatives of the workers, who had been summoned to the opening.
SERVICE OBJECTIVE
The object of the service is to take care of the maintenance of gardens and municipal trees, including the zones of neighborhood councils and with the exception of those that preserve conservation entities and municipal services.
Specifically, it contemplates 1,774,659 m2 of green areas, and 873,310 m2 of landscaped area.
In line with the promotion of sustainable development, the contractor must incorporate criteria of sustainability in the management and conservation of the urban green heritage of Cartagena, considering the biological processes, consumer relations, energy savings and the application of new technologies.
NEGOTIATED PROCEDURES
During the Table held today, in addition, proposals for the award of two negotiated procedures have been made:
Supply and installation of playground games in municipal nursery schools.
After the study of the technical report about the not justification of the reckless down, has been proposed award to Natural Engineering Water and Environment, SL, the best offer without incurring recklessness.
Finally, the process to guarantee the development of the project of continuity of the integral community intervention in the Villalba neighborhood has continued with the award proposal made in favor of the Asociación Proyecto Abraham.

NEGOTIATED PROCEDURES
- Repair of defects in low voltage installations, 2018-2019 years, with a budget of 400,000 euros.
Deadline: December 22.
- Reform of the urban services of the streets: Beatas, Villalba Corta, San Cristóbal Corta, Ciprés, Don Roque and Plaza de Roldán, with a budget of 350,000 euros.
Deadline: December 26.
