The municipal group considers essential the joint assessment of the signed investiture agreement, which includes possible agreements on budgetary matters for 2018.
Through a press release, CTSSP informs that it has summoned MC and PSOE to a joint meeting to evaluate the compliance of the investiture agreement that includes 40 points signed between the three formations, and that also contains the possibility of possible agreements in budgetary matters for the year 2018.
In the opinion of the purple formation, the Government has forgotten a great part of the commitments acquired with its formation and for that reason it considers indispensable an exhaustive pursuit of the same ones.
The municipal group expects the Government to accept the proposal for a meeting and expects to initiate talks with regard to possible budget agreements, proposals that would include the initiatives approved in plenary that require budgetary appropriation, local demands that can not be postponed, such as comprehensive neighborhood plans. commitments such as the beginning of the procedures for the dissolution of Casco Antiguo SA.
The municipal group has announced that it will initiate a campaign between the party circles, the neighborhood committees and various collectives of the municipality to collect budget proposals that will then be transferred to the municipal plenary, either through amendments to the Government's proposal, or in negotiations with this one.
Finally, CTSSP considers that these budgets are the government's last chance to rectify their erratic course and show that they want to manage for people.
The municipal group considers that this call has the character of ultimatum, since PSOE and MC will have to decide urgently if they join forces in the interests of progressive budgets, or on the contrary, they end up falling dishonorably in the arms of PP and C's, two parties that they represent everything except the interest of the social majorities of Cartagena.
