The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and the School of Business and Business Administration (ENAE) will share content, digital platforms, international commercial networks, and have also opened the way for the homologation of titles.
The first of these will be the Master's Degree in Agribusiness, which will go from being an own title of the University to an official one once the National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (Aneca) evaluates it and then counts on positive verification of the Interuniversity Council of the Region and the Governing Council.
The Rector of the UPCT, Alejandro Díaz Morcillo, and the president of the University and Business Foundation of the Region of Murcia (FUEM), Antonio Ballester have signed an agreement to second the degrees that the Business School and Business Administration will develop , through ENAE-Tech, the division of ENAE created by the University and Business Foundation of the Region.
The Polytechnic will launch this initiative in the same course, with the title of Master in Agribusiness. "It is a big step for agribusiness with this first title, we will surely add more," said the president of FUEM during the signing of the agreement. , who has also recognized the work of the Vice Chancellor for Economic and Strategic Planning of the UPCT, Emilio Trigueros, for this initiative to go forward.
From this agreement, the way of homologation of UPCT degrees is opened so that they can be taught, in different modalities, as official degrees by the center affiliated ENAE-Tech.
The studies can be done in person, at the headquarters of ENAE in Murcia, online or from abroad, according to the profile of the students.
In addition, on behalf of the University, the Vice Chancellor of Internationalization, José Manuel Ferrández said that the agreement "will give us greater international vision", while Trigueros added that "the training of engineers and architects in the field of business it is a magnificent complement for its versatility, in the face of the incorporation to the labor world ".
In the signing of the agreement has also been present the general director of ENAE, Manuel Rincon.
Both he and the president of FUEM met a few months ago with the rector of the Polytechnic and the Vice Chancellor of Planning, Emilio Trigueros, to finalize the agreement after two years of previous work.
