Cartagena, Tuesday December 19-.
The Municipal Group of Citizens in Cartagena has denounced today the new breach of the Department of Equality to open at full capacity the business incubator for women.
In the plenary session of July 2017 and questions of the orange training, the councilor of this area, David Martinez, promised to open the facilities of the nursery and deliver the dispatches to interested businesswomen after the summer, but to date this fact has not occurred.
In July of 2017, the Socialist councilor assured that ten women had taken an interest in occupying the facilities and that only some improvements were pending such as the repair of roofs and roofs.
So far only about 20 training courses have been taught at the center.
Initiated thanks to a grant from the Autonomous Community with European Funds, currently it is a resource of character and municipal dependency.
According to the orange training spokesman, Manuel Padín, "more than three years have passed since the completion of the works of these facilities in the area of Mandarache shopping center but the offices remain inactive and only some spaces are used sporadically by the Business Association of Cartagena and Comarca (Amep) to carry out training courses ".
"The promotion of the entrepreneurial culture and the development of new business opportunities in emerging economic sectors can not wait any longer," Padín has warned.
Manuel Padín recalled that it was at the end of last February when the definitive approval of the Regulation of the Internal Regime of the Business Incubator for Women of Cartagena was published in the BORM and that on March 31 the deadline for applications to occupy some of its spaces, "since then little or nothing we know except that the facilities have certain deficiencies due to disuse, but I think that enough time has passed to bring this center to life and that our entrepreneurs can develop their business plan in competitive conditions "
For all the above, Citizens will again ask for explanations in the next plenary to know when the dispatches will be delivered to the selected entrepreneurs and businesswomen.
