Raul Moli and Ainhoa â€‹â€‹Muñoz win the first test of the Mixed Beach Volleyball Circuit UPCT (19/12/2017)

About fifteen couples participated this Sunday in the first test of the Mixed Beach Volleyball UPCT 2018, organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, which was held throughout the day on the beach of Levante de Cabo de Palos, where participants and spectators could enjoy the views and the opportunity to see this sport, until recently only summer, become a reality for the whole year.

At 9:00 a.m. in a timely manner and after the technical meeting offered by the organization to the participants started the group matches, where the players went away cold from the first hour until it was making presence of the sun, developing the day with a perfect temperature.

At 12.30 and after fifty matches of these groups, began the double elimination phase, where couples who lost two games, were already eliminated from the road to the final.

After the lunch break there was a Zumba exhibition that served as a warm-up, matches were resumed in the final phase, which determined the pairs that were going to face each other in the final.

Thus, and after more than seven hours of competition, the couples composed by the Malaga native Raul Moli and his Murcian partner, Ainhoa â€‹â€‹Muñoz, of the beach volleyball school Murcia, came up against the couple composed by the Cartagena player. Pablo Mancebo and the player from Murcia Rosa Rosales, from the beach volleyball school Paraíso.

They won in the final Raul and Ainhoa â€‹â€‹by 2 set to 0, in a final match very animated by the spectators who gathered to see the first final of the first test of this circuit that starts strongly and hopes to become a claim for athletes and tourists throughout the year through beach volleyball.

On the other hand, the third and fourth place, were disputed by two couples from the Paraíso beach volleyball school, the first of them formed by Mario from Miguel and Diego Delfina Andreu from Murcia, and the second pair formed by Pedro Pividal from Cartagena. the grenadine settled in Murcia, Amparo Serrano.

They imposed Mario and Delfina, thus getting that third place that raised him to the final podium.

The trophies were handed out by the president of the Neighborhood Association of Cabo de Palos, Cristina Aguado.
