The Hospitality of Santa Teresa returned on Friday, December 15, to celebrate its traditional musical gala, focused on raising funds, to continue carrying out the social work that provides shelter to the homeless since 1916.
For 22 years the charity has been celebrating this event.
The gala, attended by the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, the mayor of the corporation, Antonio Calderón, was held at the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena, which gave free of charge the City of Cartagena to this charitable cause.
This year's gala confronted two very different musical styles: classical music and popular music.
The musical variety went through opera, zarzuela, regional music and more modern music, all had a place in the recital.
The artists participated, as usual, in a disinterested way.
Fourteen musicians, nine singers, fifty dancers (from the ballroom dance academy Cartagonava, and Dance from the City Hall of Cartagena and two actors, who served as conductors of the gala, were the artificies of this solidarity event.
