The award ceremony of the IX Cartagena Puerto de Culturas Photo Contest will be held on Tuesday, December 18 at 1:30 p.m. on the sixth floor of El Corte Inglés.
At the ceremony, the first prize will be awarded, awarded by a jury of experts in photography and tourism to the snapshot "Rincón con Misterio", presented by Juan Soler Gómez.
In addition, the winners of the second prize and the second prize will be announced, which will correspond to the most voted photographs by the citizens among the 49 finalists that were exhibited in the English Court between November 29 and December 12.
A fifth prize will also be raffled among the rest of the finalists.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, will attend and participate in the delivery of the prizes, which consist of a gift card of the English Court valued at 500 euros for the winner, another of 200 euros for the second, and a card by value of 100 euros for the two runners-up and the winner of the draw.
The motto of this edition has been "Cartagena, places with mystery".
More than 160 images have been presented to the contest, capturing charming corners between the streets full of modernist art from the port city, new lenses of the sites and museums that play with lights and shadows.
Photographs have been taken with new locations in the magnificent harbor that contains magical and enchanting places.
As well as, they have managed to collect images that suggest us to reveal part of the story.
