The School Absenteeism Campaign "Every day without fail" continued today its programming with the visit that the Spanish international table tennis player and champion of Spain, Jesus Cantero, has made to the school Vicente Medina.
There, the students of 4th, 5th and 6th grade have had the opportunity to meet with the athlete, who received with a large banner reading 'Welcome Jesus'.
In this first part, the schoolchildren have met Cantero more closely, asking questions and learning about the growth and the school and professional stage of the player, who at all times has been very close to the students.
Next, the promotional video of the School Absenteeism Campaign was screened, giving way to an autograph signing session.
The second part of the activity was developed in the patio area, where the kids have played table tennis with the Spanish player, a very special training that has been lived today at the Vicente Medina school, both students and teachers.
This activity is organized by the Department of Education and Sports of the City of Cartagena, through the municipal programs of School Absenteeism and Approach to Sport Elite (ADE), within the campaign to prevent school absenteeism that carries the motto ' Every day without fail. '
