Firefighters of the Fire Fighting Service of the City of Cartagena and Local Police, intervened last morning in the fire declared in a house on Juan de la Cosa Street.
Apparently, several calls to the Emergency Coordination Center 112 Region of Murcia, including one of the tenants of the affected housing, warned of the fire, reporting that the fire could have started in a brazier in one of the rooms, extending then to bed.
The three people who were at that time in the house tried to put out the fire, which was finally put down by the firemen, having to be attended a young woman, 21 years old, with symptoms of smoke inhalation poisoning, so which was transferred to the Santa Lucía Hospital in Cartagena.
Up to the place of the fire, a building with ten floors, were transferred, in addition to Firefighters of the SEIS and Local Police, National Police, a Mobile Emergency Unit and an ambulance of the Emergency Service of the Murcian Health Service.
