After knowing the resignation of the current Manager and the economic reports prepared by the municipal intervention that show the possibility of the liquidation of the entity, the municipal group of PODEMOS has recalled that the crisis of Casco Antiguo does not arrive at night to the tomorrow, but has been the result of an agonizing and grotesque process: as with the General Plan, is another of the many spawns of the PP that has survived thanks to the stubbornness of the new municipal government, who so stubbornly denying reality has reached the accounting prestidigitación to keep alive what was already dead beforehand.
In the opinion of the municipal group, which from the beginning was the only group to demand dissolution, the Government can not lose another minute and must proceed immediately to the liquidation of the company, transferring all the assets and liabilities to the City Council, so that a new urbanism can begin, managed directly by the Local Administration, an urbanism based on the needs of the people.
The opposite of what Casco Antiguo SA represents in the recent history of Cartagena: real estate speculation, without social purposes and deeply unsustainable in the economic sphere.
