The City of Cartagena, through the Department of Sustainable Development, is carrying out the conditioning of sidewalks in pedestrian crossings in neighborhoods and county councils in order to improve accessibility.
For this is proceeding to reduce curbs, pave and smooth slopes.
The contracted budget is 200 thousand euros.
Action has already been taken in the pedestrian crossings of Plaza Bohemia in La Manga, in Playa Paraíso, in Doña Urraca Street and Juana La Loca Square in Mediterranean Urbanization and in Recoleto Street in San Antón.
Currently, the public roads of the Santa Ana Industrial Estate are being operated, specifically on Padua Street, next to the Sports Center and the park of the explorers of the Region of Murcia.
It is expected that the actions will continue in other areas of the municipality.
